Situated on Ragosia hill in Valderice ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valderice ) , the Brezza d'Estate holiday homes boast a spectacular view of Mount Erice and the bay of Bonagia, and benefit from a central location for the historical, natural and architectural places of interest in the province of Trapani: Erice, Segesta, San Vito Lo Capo, and the Monte Cofano and Zingaro Nature Reserves, to name but a few.

Brezza d'Estate's location is certainly to its advantage. The area is fresh and breezy (hence the name Summer Breeze) even during the summer months. The sea and Cornino beach as well as the medieval town of Erice are all less than 15minutes away by car, and it is well connected to both Trapani and Palermo airports (35minutes and about one hour's drive respectively).

Surrounded by the green and tranquil countryside, the Brezza d'Estate holiday homes consist of a newly built (2009) "eco"- residence which integrates with the existing surroundings, and a baglio (a typical Sicilian farm built around a central courtyard) dating from the end of the 19th century, which has been the object of a recent restoration: "Brezza d'Estate" - "The Baglio"

THE APARTMENTS:

Particularly light and spacious, the self-catering apartments of the residence have been built with families with children, groups of friends, and the possibility of long stays (even monthly) all year round, in mind. They come complete with all home comforts and ample outdoor spaces both private and communal (garden, pergolas, large courtyard, terraces) where you can sit or eat during the summer season.

Within "Brezza d'Estate" –the residence one of the ground floor apartments is wheelchair accessible complete with adapted bathroom, and wide doors (90cm) for ease of access, suitable for wheelchair users or people of reduced mobility.

Every self-catered APARTMENT in "Brezza d'Estate" –the residence has:

• A fully equipped kitchen: gas hob with oven, fridge, freezer, crockery and cooking equipment where it is possible to prepare and eat your own meals
• Large living-dining area with TV
• Double bedroom and twin room
  
• Private bathroom with shower and hairdryer
  
• Wi-Fi internet connection
  
• Garden with pergola or balcony where you can sit and relax in the shade
  
• Use of the communal spaces and facilities: car park, laundry, barbeque area and relaxation area

Nowadays it seems as though words like "green", "eco" or "bio" are ab-used or used inappropriately even when talking about green tourism. Nonetheless the importance of the environment to all of us is unquestionable and the need to try and protect it through our everyday choices is fundamental both for the good of Earth as well our health and that of future generations.

For this reason, in creating the "Brezza d'Estate holiday homes, we have tried to do our bit by paying the necessary attention to the areas of energy, water and waste equipping the entire building with:

• A photovoltaic system of 11Kw  which creates eletricity for the apartments
• A solar water-heating system which provides 60% of the hot water for the bathrooms and kitchens, thanks to the generous Sicilian sun
• Class A energy rated lights bulbs and electrical appliances
• Dual flush toilets and water saving system in the bathrooms and kitchens
• Recycling bins for the use of all guests
